The Cost Of Education Tuition Cost Is On Every Student...

The Cost of Education Tuition cost is on every student s mind. The cost of college tuition is an unnecessary burden that causes students to do the following: work multiple jobs, worry about financial aid, and take time from studying and being better students. Every day I m reminded of the cost of tuition. It is on my mind when I am at the grocery store trying to decide between buying food or gas so I can go to work. Or, for example, when I have to make time to study in between my three jobs I am thinking, â€Å"How am I going to pay for this?† This is often the first and last thought I have every day. One of the reasons community college is expensive for me is because I have to pay out of state tuition. I am an Alabama resident who moved to North Carolina, so I can pursue a degree in archaeology. Out-of-state tuition is 350 percent more expensive. I do not think it is fair that I am being penalized simply because I am trying to receive a better education by moving to North Carolina and being forced to pay out-of-state tuition. The Free Application for Federal Student Aid is the go to for most college students. FAFSA provides financial support to those who show financial need. Unfortunately, FAFSA looks at how much money a student s parent’s make, yet it does not take into account any other factor such as the family s medical bills and other expenses.
